Piper Rayne scores with MR. CHARMING (The Nest, #4). This is the second chance romance of Tweetie Sorenson and Tedi Douglas. Tweetie and Tedi were each other’s everything when he was playing for the Florida Fury. After an injury, he was traded to Nashville. They couldn’t hack the distance and broke up. Now, Tweetie is playing for the Chicago Falcons. Tedi works for the National League and was assigned to Chicago to manage the Falcons’ social media. Tedi wants to keep things professional but Tweetie wants a second chance with the only woman that ever meant anything to him.

Piper Rayne does a fantastic job with this story. This was my favorite book in the Nest series. I loved Tweetie’s and Tedi’s journal entries explaining their past. They have amazing chemistry and are meant to be together.

This was the last book in the Nest series. The Chicago Colts Baseball team (Decker and Easton) are moving into the building next. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.

Kristen Granata scores with ICE RIVALS (East Coast #4). Stephen McKinley, Chance Kellerman, and Presley King were in a romantic relationship during their college years. A tragedy occurs, and Presley leaves school without telling Stephen and Chance what happened. Years have passed, and McKinley and Kellerman are rivals in the NHL. While playing a game against each other, they see Presley in the stands. They will do whatever it takes to get her back in their lives.

Kristen Granata does a fantastic job with this story. I love the characters. They are all very different but complement each other. They all have distinct issues that they are dealing with. They need to learn to trust one another again.

This is the first book that I have read by Kristen Granata. I enjoyed her writing style. ICE RIVALS is a heartfelt and entertaining read. I plan on reading the other books in the East Coast series. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.

Kandi Steiner lights the lamp with SAVE YOUR BREATH (Kings of the Ice, #4). In this story, NHL bad boy Aleksander (Aleks) Suter and Pop Star Mia (Conaway) Love have been best friends since Aleks billeted with Mia’s family in high school. Both parties struggle with some bad unrelated PR. To help both of their careers their publicists suggest they fake date, become engaged, and eventually break up. However, both secretly have feelings for the other and things become complicated.

Kandi Steiner does an excellent job with this story. It is skillfully written and entertaining. I like Aleks and Mia together. They know each other better than anyone. They have some miscommunication and misunderstandings. I love that this PR situation happens and allows them to become a couple. SAVE YOUR BREATH is a heartwarming read.

I look forward to Carter’s and Livia’s story, book five, STAND YOUR GROUND. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.

Helena Hunting is on a winning streak with book four in the Toronto Terror series, IF YOU LOVE ME. Alexandria (Lexi) Forrester gets her dream job as the first female assistant NHL coach. This is the last season for veteran hockey goalie Roman Hammerstein. Lexi and Roman share a past. To avoid ruining their careers, they must try to stay away from each other until the end of the season. However, fighting their attraction for each other proves to be difficult.

Helena Hunting does it again. IF YOU LOVE ME is an amazing book. The characters are likable and well developed. The novel is captivating and entertaining. The story does a great job tying characters from the previous books and series.

Lexi is a compelling character. She is raising her two sisters. She works hard. I enjoyed reading about her challenges as a first-time female assistant coach in the NHL; especially since she beat out a jealous internal candidate for the job. Roman is the father of Aurora from IF YOU WANT ME (Toronto Terror #2). He is one of the league’s top goalies and well respected. The two have fantastic chemistry. IF YOU LOVE ME is the perfect addition to the Toronto Terror series. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.

Hannah Gray does a great job with this story. It is skillfully written and heartfelt. I love the characters and appreciate that they get a second chance. This book does have a few scenes that could trigger people.

FOOL ME ONCE is an excellent addition to the New England Bay Sharks series. I am looking forward to Ryder’s story next, BITE YOUR TONGUE. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.

Katie Strong does a fabulous job with this second chance romance. Owen and Stacey were high school sweethearts. They were separated when Owen’s stepfather uprooted them and moved to Canada. Due to a series of circumstances, they lose contact with each other. I love that they get an opportunity to clear things up. It is crazy what they go through.

The characters are well developed and likable. Millie is adorable. The plot is interesting with unexpected twists. PUCKING SECRET is the perfect addition to the Night Hawks Hockey series. I am looking forward to PUCKING ENEMIES next. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.

The two still have feelings for each other but are concerned about a player-coach scandal.

Sarina Bowen does a fabulous job with this story. It is skillfully written, thought-provoking, and entertaining. The characters are dimensional and likable. It correlated well with the other books. Rebecca Jenshak does a great job with this story. Everly and Jack are continually butting heads. Their banter is entertaining. She is ten years younger than Jack. They challenge each other and tell it how it is. Jack and Everly are likeable characters. They face interesting situations and grow through the novel.

FOREVER WILD is an excellent addition to the Wildcat Hockey series. It is skillfully written and compelling. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.

Lincoln and Nash are best friends. They played juniors hockey together. He moved away ten years ago when he was traded to the Orchid City Vipers. Nash playing for the Aston Archers. He has always had a crush on Nash’s sister. Before he left, he broke down and kissed Nova but has not seen or talked to her since he was traded. Nova's feelings for Lincoln were reciprocated. She was hurt when she never heard from him but understood why.

Cali Melle does a fantastic job with this story. The characters are dynamic. The story is believable and interesting. I love Lincoln, Nova, and Posy. Posy is adorable. I enjoyed Lincoln’s interaction with her. For someone who was terrified of kids, he is amazing with her. Lincoln’s family upbringing was not great. It makes him question his capabilities in a relationship. They face relevant situations. I am looking forward to Nash’s story next, MAKE YOUR PLAY. Toni Aleo does a fantastic job with this story. Clara and Riggs are a fun couple, and the dogs are adorable. Riggs is known for being grumpy. He was hurt after his divorce fourteen years prior. Clara is the sunshine that he needs. Clara is the youngest McDavid sister. Her sisters are extremely protective of her. The couple face some interesting and entertaining situations.

Pucks and Pups was the perfect addition to the Knoxville Bears series. It is my new favorite book in the series. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.

Weston and Daisy have been best friends since they met during their freshman year at UConn. They have been inseparable since. They made a friendship pact when they met. Weston is known as Hockey’s Golden Boy. Daisy was a figure skater until a horrible injury. She is now an accountant.

Maria Luis does a great job with this story the characters are likable. The plot is interesting. The story is entertaining.

This is the first book that I have read by Maria Luis. I enjoyed her writing style and plan on reading the other books in the series. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.

PS. Black scores with SHATTERES ICE (Hawksview U #1). In this story, Bohdi Stiles is mourning the death of his best friend/nephew, Jace. He moved from Baltimore, Maryland to Lansing, Michigan to teach college marketing. Bohdi is a character in the Lost & Found Duet. I have not read his backstory. I did not have any issues following this book. I am interested in reading the duet because of reading this book.

Brayden “Quake” Anders is a star center hockey player at Hawksview U and one of Bohdi’s students. He has had a difficult life. He is driven to make it to the NHL to help give himself and his twin, Bexley, a better life. He is loyal to his twin, his other half. Brayden is openly gay. He is smart and hard-working.

Both Bohdi and Brayden are broken. They are drawn to each other. Bohdi is twenty-one years older than Brayden and his teacher. This is obviously taboo. Bohdi has never been attracted to a guy before. My heart went out to Brayden and Bohdi. They are likeable characters that have endured heartbreak.

This is the first book that I have read by PS. Black. I enjoyed her writing style. I am looking forward to Trayton’s and Daxton’s story next, SHATTERED KING. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.

Kat Mizera gets a hat trick with book three in the L.A. Phantoms series PLAY BOOK. NHL star Canyon Marks and former supermodel/current artist/gallery owner Saylor Bonetti begin to date. Neither one of them has expectations of getting serious. Then Canyon gets custody of his eleven-year-old niece, Allison. They have a rocky start; Allison does not care for Canyon or Saylor. Canyon needs to learn to balance his life.

PLAY BOOK is an entertaining story that has a lot going on other than Canyon becoming a guardian. It is a reverse age gap, and Saylor has a stalker. Kat Mizera does an excellent job with this story. The characters are complex and likeable. My heart went out to Allison and what she endured. I really like Canyon and Saylor. They have great chemistry. Neither of them was looking for a relationship but when they begin to hang out there is an undeniable pull to each other.

PLAY BOOK is the perfect addition to the L.A. Phantoms series. I am looking forward to Blake and Bristol’s story next PLAYOFF. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.

I like Clayton and Gracie. Clayton’s dad died when he was young. He feels a responsibility to his mom and sister. He is focused and a good captain. Grace is smart and hard working. She has been a better friend to Kellan than he has been to her. I love that Clayton and Grace become more social as a result of hanging out together. They are an adorable couple.

This is the first book that I have read by Cala Riley. I enjoyed her writing style. The characters are dimensional, and the story is believable. I am looking forward to the next book in the series, CROSS CHECKED. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.

Kate Meader lights the lamp with HOCKEY WIFE (Rookie Rebels #9). NHL veteran Dylan “Banks” Bankowski was in Las Vegas for the All-Star weekend. While he was there, he meets Georgia Goodwin. They hit it off and get married. However, when Dylan wakes up, she is gone.

Coincidentally, Dylan and Georgia both live in Chicago. Dylan was recently traded to the Chicago Rebels. Georgia later tracks Dylan down when she discovers there were issues with their annulment. The press finds out about the marriage, and the two decide to stay together for appearances with the expectation of getting a divorce in the future. However, once they get to know each other they both start to question if that is what they really want.

Kate Meader does an excellent job with this story. The characters are dynamic and face a lot of interesting scenarios, including, Banks being twelve years older than Georgia. He is nearing the end of his career, and Georgia is at the beginning of hers. Furthermore, years prior, Georgia’s twin sister died from heart failure. She and her family still face issues because of their loss.

I like Georgia and Banks. On the outside, they seem like opposites, but they are perfect for each other. HOCKEY WIFE is an excellent addition to the Rookie Rebels series. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.

Sawyer Bennett is on a winning streak with book fourteen in the Pittsburgh Titans series, KING. Titans' defenseman Jack Kingston offers to help Doctor Willa Montreaux coach her niece’s pee wee hockey team when no one else offers to step up.

I love that King notices and admires Willa when she stands up to a difficult parent. Having been a hockey mom and team manager, I appreciate that Willa and King prioritized that the kids should have fun at that age. It should be a positive experience.

Willa and Jack have wonderful chemistry. Willa is eight years older than King. That does not deter him. Willa is also divorced and hesitant to get in a relationship. However, she would consider a one-night-stand. Contrary, King is not into one-nightstands. He has only ever had one long-term relationship and is inexperienced with dating. It is an interesting dynamic.

Willa and Jack are both likable characters. The story is skillfully written and interesting. I am looking forward to Rafferty Abrams’ story next. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.

Brenda Rothert starts out strong with LOST IN YOU, the first book in the Minnesota Mammoths series. Minnesota Mammoths team captain Lincoln Rowe promised his teammate Dalton Lorenzo that he would protect his sister, Trinity, from her stalker ex-boyfriend. The two of them head home on a private plane that crashes in southern Alaska.  They are the only survivors.

Brenda Rothert does a fantastic job with this story.  Trinity and Lincoln initially do not get along.  They are like oil and vinegar. They need to rely on each other to survive. They learn a lot about themselves and each other. They form a bond over their experience.

LOST IN YOU is skillfully written and entertaining.  The characters are dynamic and grow throughout the story.  Their experience changes them and their priorities.  I am looking forward to the next book in this series. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.
