Helena Hunting is on a winning streak with book four in the Toronto Terror series, IF YOU LOVE ME. Alexandria (Lexi) Forrester gets her dream job as the first female assistant NHL coach. This is the last season for veteran hockey goalie Roman Hammerstein. Lexi and Roman share a past. To avoid ruining their careers, they must try to stay away from each other until the end of the season. However, fighting their attraction for each other proves to be difficult.
Helena Hunting does it again. IF YOU LOVE ME is an amazing book. The characters are likable and well developed. The novel is captivating and entertaining. The story does a great job tying characters from the previous books and series.
Lexi is a compelling character. She is raising her two sisters. She works hard. I enjoyed reading about her challenges as a first-time female assistant coach in the NHL; especially since she beat out a jealous internal candidate for the job. Roman is the father of Aurora from IF YOU WANT ME (Toronto Terror #2). He is one of the league’s top goalies and well respected. The two have fantastic chemistry. IF YOU LOVE ME is the perfect addition to the Toronto Terror series. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.
Helena Hunting gets a hat trick with book three in the Toronto Terror series, IF YOU NEED ME. Toronto Terror Star Dallas Mattias Bright and Toronto Terror PR Director Wilhelmina Reddi-Grinst (Hemi) have known each other since kindergarten. Hemi has never forgiven him for bullying her in their youth. After a drunken mistake, the couple must pretend to be in a fake relationship to save their jobs.
Helena Hunting does a fantastic job with the story. The characters are likable and dynamic. They have misunderstandings from their past. Dallas is a good guy who is determined to right his past. The story had entertaining situations and a great storyline.
IF YOU NEED ME is an excellent addition to the Toronto Terror series. I look forward to Roman’s story next, IF YOU LOVE ME. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.
Helena Hunting lights the lamp with IF YOU HATE ME (Toronto Terror #1). Beatrix (Rix) Madden temporarily moves in with her older brother Phillip (Flip) and his best friend/NHL teammate Tristan Stiles after she quits her job and moved out of her apartment. The problem is Rix and Tristan hate each other.
Rix, Flip, and Tristan grew up together. Rix was the annoying little sister who was always tagging along. Flip and Tristan currently play for the Toronto Terror. Rix is an accountant, but her passion is sports nutrition.
Rix and Flip grew up poor. They both have financial insecurities. Tristan’s mother deserted his family when he was young leaving him with abandonment issues. Rix and Tristan constantly fight. They are attracted to each other and finally give into their hormones. The characters face some interesting situations and grow throughout this story. I love Rix and Tristan. They are wonderful characters.
IF YOU HATE ME is skillfully written and heartfelt read. It is an amazing start to the Toronto Terror series. I like that Helena Hunting referred to characters in her other series in this novel. I am looking forward to Hollis and Hammer’s story IF YOU WANT ME. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.

Single dad, hockey coach, and the last guy this single mom should fall for.
Where It Begins, an all-new swoon-filled Pucked novella from New York Times bestselling author Helena Hunting, is available now!
From New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Helena Hunting comes a new story in her Pucked series. The untold story of Skye and Sidney, and the origin story where Vi and Miller are teens when their parents start dating and fall in love…
I accidentally grabbed the wrong drink at the coffee shop. On the upside, the hot guy it belonged to chased me down to kindly swap with me. On the down side, the reason I grabbed the wrong drink in the first place is because the hot guy had just caught me checking out his ass…sets.
In my defense, his rear view is rather magnificent.
In true, humiliating form, I word-vomited a bunch of horrible nonsense. Including an unnecessary explanation of the trauma I’d evaded thanks to his chasing me down. Nothing could ruin my lactose-intolerant day faster than my one true nemesis: dairy.
I did not expect him to ask me out on a date after that.
I also didn’t expect the date to go well since my tendency to truth-vomit is high, and not everyone finds that quality endearing.
But apparently he does. Because he asks me out again. And again.
Sidney Butterson (yes, it’s a weird last name) ticks all my boxes. He's smart, he's funny, he's employed and he's ridiculously hot. There’s one catch.
We’re both single parents. With teens.
And if our kids don’t like each other? Well, we’re doomed.
**Every 1001 Dark Nights novella is a standalone story. For new readers, it’s an introduction to an author’s world. And for fans, it’s a bonus book in the author’s series. We hope you'll enjoy each one as much as we do.**

Hubert, the barista, calls out, “Skye and Sidney! Your lattes are ready!” I rush forward and grab mine, muttering a hasty, “Thanks!” Then beeline for the exit. Of course, that’s the moment a hoard of teens barrel through the door, forcing me to hold it open until the entire gaggle has stormed the café. Once outside, I hustle to the crosswalk. I punch the button and glare as the sign counts down from thirty. And then I hear my name being called. I glance toward the café and, much to my horror, the attractive man whose butt I was admiring is rushing toward me, coffee in hand. “Hey! You’re Skye, right?” he asks. “Yes. That’s me.” Maybe he didn’t mind my checking out his butt. “You took the wrong coffee.” He taps the side of the cup with the name SKYE written in Larissa’s lovely cursive. “Oh.” I turn mine around and see Sidney scrawled on the side. And it’s a pumpkin spice latte. Half sweet, skim milk. “Wow. I would have spent the rest of the afternoon working from a bathroom stall if you hadn’t caught me.” At his questioning expression, I continue with the embarrassing word vomit. “I’m lactose intolerant and this much dairy would mean stomach cramps for days.” I bite my lips together and close my eyes. “Sorry. You didn’t need to know that. I haven’t taken a sip. See. No lipstick prints.” I thrust the cup toward him and reluctantly crack a lid. He’s smiling. Widely. “I’m very glad I caught you when I did then. I wouldn’t want to be responsible for an afternoon of prolonged discomfort.” We exchange takeout cups. “It would’ve been my fault for not checking more than the S, but I was trying to escape my embarrassment. Seems like it’s following me around and making things worse.” I step away from this exceptionally hot man who inspires an unprecedented amount of word vomit. “Thank you for stopping me. You, uh...you didn’t drink out of mine, did you?” “I didn’t.” His eyes are blue. So vibrant and pretty and his teeth are straight. I glance at his hand. His ring finger is bare. Then I realize he’s giving my hand the same inspection. “Do you work around here?” “Just across the street.” I thumb over my shoulder. “You?” “No, but I’m in the area often.” He tucks a hand in his pocket. “Maybe you’d like to grab a coffee later this week?” I blink at him. Then open my mouth and ask a stupid question. “Are you asking me out?” “Unless you’re already seeing someone. I didn’t see a ring, so I was hopeful.” His bottom lip slides through his teeth and for a moment, he looks boyishly handsome. “But…you don’t know anything about me.” I don’t know why I haven’t said yes yet. He’s attractive and thoughtful enough to stop me from drinking the wrong coffee. His kindness saved me from ending up curled in the fetal position on a bathroom floor. He rubs the back of his neck. “I’ve seen you here before. I’ve been working up the nerve to introduce myself. Looks like the universe gave me a push in the right direction.” He holds up a hand and gives his head a little shake. “I’m probably making this awkward. I’ll be here Wednesday at eleven-thirty. Hopefully, I’ll see you then.” And with that, he turns and disappears into the crowd.

WHERE IT ALL BEGINS is a must-read for followers of Helena Hunting’s Pucked series. It is a prequel to PUCKED. This novella takes place while Vi (Violet) and Miller are teens and their parents Skye Hall and Sidney Butterson begin dating. It is hilarious. Vi is so much like her mom. It was fun reading about these characters in their youth. WHERE IT ALL BEGINS is nonstop entertainment.
If you have read the Pucked series you will want to pick up this book. If you haven’t read the Pucked series, and you like hockey romances and to laugh. Pick up this book and then read the rest of the series... I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.

NYT and USA Today bestselling author, Helena Hunting lives
outside of Toronto with her amazing family and her adorable, emotional cat, who
thinks the best place to sleep is her keyboard. Helena writes everything from
emotional contemporary romance to romantic comedies that will have you laughing
until you cry.
H. (Helena) Hunting gets a hat trick with book three in the Lies, Hearts & Truths series SHATTERED TRUTHS. I had been looking forward to Randall Ballistic’s story. I was not disappointed. Randall is better known as BJ (Balls Junior). He is the son of NHL player Randy Ballistic and figure skater Lily LeBlanc (PUCKED OVER, Pucked #3). BJ decided to follow in his mother’s footsteps by becoming a figure skater. He attends Monarch College along with the other Pucked kids.
He meets hockey player Winter Marks at Pearl Lake when he accidentally almost runs her over. She loses a skate in the near accident, and he needs to return it to her. After some hockey and a lot of verbal banter, the two start to hang out. I love BJ’s nickname for Winter (Snowflake). My heart went out to Winter and what she went through. She did not have an easy life. BJ’s skating partner, Adele, is something else. I felt horrible for what BJ went through with her.
SHATTERED TRUTHS is an amazing story. It made me laugh, cry, and smile. The characters are well-developed and grow through the novel. It is the perfect addition to the Lies, Hearts & Truths series. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.

Bitter Sweet Heart, a steamy, reverse age gap, hockey romance from New York Times bestselling author Helena Hunting writing as H. Hunting, is now available!
From the outside looking in, I live a charmed life: hockey legend for a father, my own promising future in the league, a great family, awesome friends. It’s not untrue, but it’s not quite that simple either.
My dad’s advice has always been to make hockey my number-one priority—at least until I make it to the pros. So, going into my senior year of college, I have a plan. I’ll put in the effort required to pass my classes, play hockey like my life depends on it, and avoid relationships. All I have to do is stay focused on the end game, and I’ll walk away with a degree and into a career in the NHL.
It should be easy.
But when a woman literally floats into my dock, just before summer ends and my senior year begins, I can’t resist one last hookup. What harm could a one-night stand do? It’s not like we even exchanged numbers.
Everything is fine until I run into her on campus.
It’s a big school. I should be able to avoid her.
Except she happens to be in my class.
And she’s not a student.
She’s my professor.

NYT and USA Today bestselling author, Helena Hunting, writing as H. Hunting, lives on the outskirts of Toronto with her incredibly tolerant family and two moderately intolerant cats. She started her writing career with new adult angsty romance and branched out in sports romance and romantic comedies that will make you laugh and swoon. But sometimes she likes to serve up a little heartache on the way to the happily ever after.
H. Hunting lights the lamp with BITTER SWEET HEART (Lies, Hearts & Truths #2). This is Maverick Waters story. He is the son of Alex and Violet Waters from PUCKED (Pucked #1) written as Helena Hunting and FOREVER PUCKED (Pucked #4).
Maverick has been avoiding relationships and concentrating on hockey to follow in his NHL father’s footsteps since he could remember. He is entering his senior year of college and intending to continue the same path. Then he runs into his one-nightstand from the summer, Clover Sweet. The girl he can’t stop thinking about, but unfortunately, she is also his professor.
H. Hunting does an amazing job with this story. Maverick is struggling against the idea of living in his hockey-legend father’s footsteps. He doesn’t want to disappoint his parents. He is also still suffering from the effect of his sister Lavender’s (LITTLE LIES, Hearts & Truths #1) abduction when she was a child, feeling he was responsible. To top things off, he likes Clover, but since she is his professor, there are obvious complications. I love that That Maverick makes origami paper cranes. I appreciated the photo "origami crane instructions" at the end of the story.
Clover is an intriguing heroine. She is older than Maverick but still in her twenties. She filed for a divorce, but her spouse does not want to sigh the papers, despite the long length of their separation. He makes her life difficult. She is struggling with the ethical implication with Maverick. She has a good heart and handles things well.
BITTER SWEET HEART is a heartfelt and emotional read. It had me laughing and crying. The characters are complex and relatable. The plot was carefully thought out. I appreciated how past books played into this story. BITTER SWEET HEART is the perfect addition to the Lies, Hearts & Truths series. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.

Helena Hunting heats things up with WHEN SPARKS FLY. In this story, Avery Spark and her roommate/best friend, Declan McCormick crossed the line after he takes care of her following a car accident. The story takes place in Colorado Springs.
Avery and her two sisters: Landon and Harley, own an event hotel named Spark House. It’s an interesting hotel. A lot of the story revolves around creative ways to grow their business.
Avery and Declan have been best friends since college. They are likeable characters. They played intramural soccer together. I love how they share crossword puzzles. They both show a lot of growth in the story.
Avery dated their friend Sam in college. When they broke up, Declan chose Avery over Sam. Sam makes an appearance in this story that causes some friction between the characters. The two have some issues they need to resolve. Their friendship is jeopardized, but they realize the importance of the other in their lives.
Helena Hunting does a nice job with this story. I recommend this book to people who enjoy friends to lovers’ romances. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.

Helena Hunting’s A Kiss for a Kiss (All In #4) melts the ice. Seattle NHL General Manager Jake Masterson and accountant Hanna Kingston, hook-up despite their kids getting married. Things get complicated when Hanna becomes pregnant.
Jake is the father of Queenie Masterson, and Hanna is the mother/sister of Ryan Kingston from A SECRET FOR A SECRET (All In #3). Hanna and Ryan were raised as siblings. In reality, Hanna is Ryan’s mother. I enjoyed the story's plot. Jake and Hanna have amazing chemistry. Their family is unconventional. Jake gave up a pro NHL career to raise his daughter. He was a single father who had the help of his parents. Hanna got pregnant at a young age. Her parents adopted her son Ryan. Ryan and Hanna were raised as siblings. Ryan found out that Hanna was really his mother in the previous book, A SECRET FOR A SECRET.
Jake and Hanna have a complicated situation. On top of their kid situation, Jake lives in Seattle and Hanna lives in Tennessee. Queenie and Ryan getting married, and the pregnancy bring up a lot of emotions and scars from their past experiences. I like that the two have an opportunity to raise a kid with the help of a significant other.
KISS FOR A KISS was an amazing book. It was heartfelt and thought-provoking. The characters were dimensional. There are family drama and complications. Followers of Helena Hunting will not want to miss this book. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.
