CURSE & CRYSTAL THORNS began where book three, BLADE & CRYSTAL THORNS, left off. Chloe, Quintus, and friends must find the king of Crystalfall (aka Quintus’ father). Plus, Chloe and Quintus need to repair their bond for Quintus to regain his magic.
They decide that they need to distinguish between the humans fighting in fairy. Chloes’ side becoming The order of the Golden Shield and Julian's and Portia’s side known as the Zeakriesh.
CURSE & CRYSTAL THORNS is full of action, adventure, and intrigue. There is never a dull moment. The characters continue to grow. The story ends in a cliffhanger. I cannot wait to see where Kay L. Moody takes this serious next. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.
For centuries this has been the drive for humans to lie, murder, cheat, and steal, and The Nectar is the biggest fortune of them all. An object which can change the dynamics between fae and human, save lives, and gives humans fae qualities.
Tracking down Katrina in the ancient dragon caves, Croygen and Kat sink deeper into greed and betrayal from foes who have been hiding in the shadows—-nightmares from the past who still haunt Croygen.
When the nectar slips through their fingers, their chase takes them to the destitute streets of Budapest, where the divide between humans and fae is brewing, and leads Katrina to an old childhood friend. Someone who would have fought the world and would have killed any enemy for her.
Now ๐จ๐๐ is the enemy.
Choosing between love and her soul, Katrina will make the ultimate choice that will change all of their lives forever, setting a domino effect into the future.
But you should know never to trust a pirate. They seek revenge, battle for vengeance, and kill with cruelty.
Puss and her Pirate will ride the seas and hunt those who have betrayed them.
Yo Ho. Welcome to the world of scavengers and cutthroats.

Greed and desperation did awful things to humanity. When everything else was stripped away, you found out what kind of person you could be.
I already knew what kind of person I was. What I was capable of. I was capable of killing without remorse. Slit someone’s throat with a joke on my lips. And that was without AB’s or Kat’s life on the line. They thought the monster was the merciless Dark Dweller next to me…little did they know.
Stacey Marie Brown is a lover of hot fictional bad boys and sarcastic heroines who kick butt. She also enjoys books, travel, TV shows, hiking, writing, design, and archery. Stacey swears she is part gypsy, being lucky enough to live and travel all over the world.

The King of Darkness is dead. It’s time for a new one to rise…
London Crow isn’t who I thought she was.
She’s worse.
My hate for her knows no bounds.
My need for her has no end.
But it’s my inability to have her that might just end us all, as the fates refuse to be ignored.
Now, there’s a darkness sweeping the streets of Rathe, threatening to destroy the Kingdom we know and love, and it’s all because of her.
The mate I can’t have.
The bond I can’t let go.
There is only one way to restore balance, and it begins and ends with her.
The problem? I broke the girl into a thousand tiny pieces without a second thought. Earning her forgiveness won’t be easy, but that’s fine.
If she won’t give it freely, I will take it.
One mistake at a time.

Meagan Brandy and Amo Jones outdid themselves. FATE OF A FAUX takes place where FATE OF A ROYAL left off. London Crow found out her identity. The King of Darkness is dead. London’s mate Knight Deveraux is about to take the throne. London and Knight are fighting their feelings for each other, and Rathe is beginning to suffer for it.
FATE OF A FAUX is a thrilling story. It is skillfully written. There are spellbinding twists. There is never a dull moment in this story. If you like dark fantasies, you will want to pick up this duet. Make sure to start with book one, FATE OF A ROYAL.
I am hoping that Meagan Brandy and Amo Jones continue with the other Deveraux boys’ stories. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.
Princess Arielle Delacroix is about to experience Nightfall, the transition from human to Vampire. Afterward, she needs to return to court where her older brother Victor is the new king of the Shadow World. Unknown to her, he has plans to marry Arielle off to use her as a political pawn. Plus, someone is trying to kill her.
Meanwhile, Arielle is dealing with the men in her life: her best-friend Lucus Pereira, her first-blood (human servant) Leo Callas, her bodyguard/assassin Alec Beaumont, and her childhood bully Sebastian Chastain. This fantasy had me glued to my kindle. It was skillfully written and exciting from the start through the finish. The ending has me highly anticipating book two, QUEEN OF ASHES AND SCARS.
This is the first book that I have read by Anya J. Cosgrove. I enjoyed her writing style. I look forward to reading additional books by her in the future. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.
Christine Feehan shines with SHADOW DANCE (Shadow Riders #8). Geno Ferraro head of the New York City Shadow Riders interrogates dancer Amaranthe Aubert about a series of murders. He discovers that she is a fellow rider, and their shadows connect.
Christine Feehan does a fantastic job with this novel. It is an excellent addition to the Shadow Riders series. As always, the story is skillfully written. There are interesting twists. We discover attention-grabbing details about the Shadow Riders’ world and characters in the series. They uncover tragedies that happened in the past.
I love Geno and Amaranthe. They have amazing chemistry. Amaranthe has a fascinating background and is a talented dancer. I enjoyed Stefano’s (SHADOW RIDER, Shadow Rider #1) role in the story. SHADOW DANCE is the perfect addition to the Shadow Riders series. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.
“You will go to Rathe University, live among the giftless and those of light magic. You, Knight Deveraux, will learn to coexist.”
I’ve never heard more wasted words in my life. Then again, the gifted counsel never did have much to say that wasn’t. The only members amongst them who speak a thing worth listening to are my parents, the King and Queen of the Stygian’s, the people of Dark Magic.
Unfortunately for me and my brothers, they’ve chosen to play nice instead of sinking their talons into anyone who dares demand a thing from their heirs. In this instance at least.
Every gifted is forced to leave our realm behind after graduation to spend the next four years in a world that isn’t ours, while pretending it’s enough for those with something deeper clawing beneath their skin.
It isn’t. Not by a long shot, and while it’s as boring as I thought it would be, we find ways to entertain ourselves.
A little Fae Dust, the power of persuasion, and it’s a party worthy of a royal … or four.
That was fun the first year, but it’s my second now, and the minute I got back to campus, I knew it would be worse than before. I felt it, that pull buried beneath my skin, the whisper of a warning deep in my mind I could hear but couldn’t reach.
It starts with a human party and ends with a fucking nightmare.
I five foot, white haired one.
With eyes like ice and a body begging to be bitten, she’s a problem.
A giftless one.
That’s right, she’s human.
Worthless.
And if the shadow circling my soul is telling me what I think it is … she belongs to it.
My new obsession … is my fated mate.
But there is no way the fates would give me, a Lord of Rathe, a heir to the throne of dark magic, a giftless girl.
I’ll prove they got it wrong.
That she’s not mine.
If I’m lucky, I’ll destroy her in the process.
