A Kiss for a Kiss (All In #4) by Helena Hunting Review

A Kiss for a Kiss (All In, #4)A Kiss for a Kiss by Helena Hunting
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Helena Hunting’s A Kiss for a Kiss (All In #4) melts the ice. Seattle NHL General Manager Jake Masterson and accountant Hanna Kingston, hook-up despite their kids getting married. Things get complicated when Hanna becomes pregnant.

Jake is the father of Queenie Masterson, and Hanna is the mother/sister of Ryan Kingston from A SECRET FOR A SECRET (All In #3). Hanna and Ryan were raised as siblings. In reality, Hanna is Ryan’s mother. I enjoyed the story's plot. Jake and Hanna have amazing chemistry. Their family is unconventional. Jake gave up a pro NHL career to raise his daughter. He was a single father who had the help of his parents. Hanna got pregnant at a young age. Her parents adopted her son Ryan. Ryan and Hanna were raised as siblings. Ryan found out that Hanna was really his mother in the previous book, A SECRET FOR A SECRET.

Jake and Hanna have a complicated situation. On top of their kid situation, Jake lives in Seattle and Hanna lives in Tennessee. Queenie and Ryan getting married, and the pregnancy bring up a lot of emotions and scars from their past experiences. I like that the two have an opportunity to raise a kid with the help of a significant other.

KISS FOR A KISS was an amazing book. It was heartfelt and thought-provoking. The characters were dimensional. There are family drama and complications. Followers of Helena Hunting will not want to miss this book. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.
