Read below for an excerpt from the book:
Strong arms wrap tightly around my waist and tug me back to a warm, muscular chest. Asher lifts his hand and moves my hair to one side, over my shoulder, so he can have access to my neck. I tilt my head to the right, making it easy for his lips to gently brush the sensitive skin under my left ear before leaving a trail of soft kisses.
“Someday, when this is all over, I promise you’ll have the peace you’re craving. It will be just me and you, siren,” he vows quietly.
I sigh in contentment. “That’s all I want, Ash.”
“Then I’ll move Heaven and earth to make sure you get it."
I turn to face him and push up on my tiptoes. Leaning in, I give him a slow, molten kiss. I push everything I feel for him into the gesture. I want to fill every space of his soul, the way he does mine.
It’s like I’m trying to climb inside his heart and live there. I’m not sure how long we stay like this, in our own private, perfect moment, but I never want to leave.
Breathlessly, I pull away. My eyes find Asher’s. “What is it you want the most?”
Asher’s intense gaze holds mine, taking my breath away. “Redemption.”
Interview
What is your favorite part of the story, Redemption?
There are three parts of Redemption that if I had to chose, I would consider my favorites. I certainly had the best time writing them. The first is when Gage and Eve visit The Land of The Leprechauns. I had a lot of fun with that particular realm and their dynamic within it. The second would have to be a scene in which Abby and Callan are arguing over ice cream flavors. The dialogue between the two is something that I really had fun with. My final favorite moment in Redemption is Asher’s return, in the rain, because I’m truly a romantic at heart.
How long did it take you to write Redemption?
Start to finish about 6 months. This seems to be my average for the books within The Revelation Series.
What inspired you to write your first book?
I’m asked this alot, so if it’s repetitive, I apologize (laughs). I really love the Paranormal Romance Genre. It’s one of my favorites and to be honest, I was simply craving something new and exciting at the new adult level within the category.
Can you share a little of your current work with us?
Currently, I’m working on the fourth book The Revelation Series, Revolution which will be releasing in Spring 2015.
What book are you reading now?
At the moment, I’m totally engrossed in the Night Prince Novels by Jeaniene Frost. I love Vlad!
What do you prefer paperback, hardcover, or ebooks?
I prefer hardcover books. There is something so wonderful about the feel and smell of a book. It’s intoxicating.
Do you have anything specific that you want to say to your readers?
Yes! Thank you. Truly, this has been an amazing journey and one that I would not be on without the readers. They’re the best.
Thanks so much for having me today.
