Feature & Follow #3: Convinced Someone to Read a Book

This weeks Question:

Have you ever convinced someone to read a book, a series, or a whole genre? What book(s) and who was it? Did they like it?

I am another person that convinced three friends to read Stephenie Meyer's Twilight. My friend Michelle even went to all the movies with me.  I actually won tickets for an advanced preview of Twilight in Chicago with all the Reviewers (including Roger Ebert) - very cool.

I got my mom to read Toni Aleo's Assassins Series and Deirdre Martin's New York Blades Series.  Got to love a good hockey romance.

My eleven year old son, Justin, has been reading and loving a lot of series I have suggested: Brandon Mull's Fablehaven; Rick Riordan's Percy Jackson and the Olympians, and of course J.K. Rowling 's Harry Potter.  I love sharing books with him.
