Elise Faber scores with ON THE FLY (Sierra Hockey #4). Head coach of the Sierra Hockey Team, Josephine (Joey) Banks, has a lot to prove, being the first female coach in the NHL. The last thing she needs is to act on her attraction to General Manager Damon Connors. However, when Damon discovers what transpired between her and the previous coach, his protective streak comes out, and he wants to take care of Joey.

Elise Faber does a great job with this story. It is skillfully written and entertaining. The characters are likable and genuine. There may be some triggering situations for some people. I am looking forward to the final book in the series, ATTACKING THE ZONE. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.

Elise Faber gets a hat trick with book three in the Eagles Hockey series, LOADED LACES. West Stevenson's heart was broken when Isabelle (Belle) Harrison broke up with him. Now, ten years later, she is back. She kept a secret from him.

Elise Faber does a great job with this second-chance romance. At eighty-two pages, it is a quick read. The characters are likable. The story is believable.

LOADED LACES is an excellent addition to the Eagles Hockey series. I look forward to book four, LUCKY LACES. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.

Elise Faber and Kat Mizera hit a high note with HEARTBREAKER (Gamebreakers #2). Lead guitarist of the hit rock band, Midnight Sun, Royal Ewing, has his career ended by an injury. He writes a hit crossover song for rising country star Jade Cantrell. After a one-night-stand, they decide to keep it professional and write an album together. However, it becomes difficult to deny their chemistry.

Elise Faber and Kat Mizera did an excellent job collaborating on this story. It is a heartfelt and entertaining read. The characters are likable and dimensional. They are good for one another. I enjoyed the narrative.

Heartbreaker is an excellent addition to the Gamebreakers series. I am looking forward to Dash’s story, DEALBREAKER. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.

Elise Faber heats things up with BOTTLES AND BLADES (Eagles Hockey: Oak Ridge Vineyards #1). Billionaire Jean-Michel Dubois is intrigued by Tiffany Hernandez when she pays for his lunch after he loses his wallet. He proceeds by kidnapping her to pay her back. It is an entertaining start to the story.

Despite their age gap, they continue to get to know one another. Jean-Michel wants to make Tiff his. I love that Jean-Michel owns the Oakland Eagles and that Tiff is the nanny for Stephan and Britt of their rivals the Gold. I appreciate how the two series weave together in this story.

Tiff has had a tough life and Jean-Michel wants to take care of her. The characters face a lot of interesting situations throughout this story. It is a strong start to the Eagles Hockey: Oak Ridge Vineyards series. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.
