Alexa Padgett hits it in the net with ANOTHER POWERPLAY (Wildcatters Hockey #6). Houston Wildcatters Defenseman Lennon Cruz meets the love of his life, oncology nurse Vivian Lee. The couple lose touch and are both miserable without each other. His teammates try to reunite them. I found it amusing that there is a competition between the men and the women to get Vivian and Lennon together.
Alexa Padgett does a nice job with this story. It deals with abandonment issues and trauma. I enjoyed the reuniting service members with their K-9s aspect of the novel. ANOTHER POWERPLAY is a heartfelt and entertaining read. It is an excellent addition to the Wildcatters Hockey series. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.
