Frozen Over by Ruth Stilling
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Ruth Stilling scores with FROZEN OVER (Seattle Scorpions #2). In this story, Zach Evans heads home to Cocoa Beach to rehabilitate during the NHL off season. He recently had a bad break up. He is not interested in starting a new relationship. However, when he runs into his high school friend, Luna Johnson, he reconsiders.
Zach is the best friend of Jon Morgan from BOARDED HEARTS (Seattle Scorpions #1). We met Zach in that story. Zach’s then girlfriend Amie cheated on him with another player in the NHL. Now he heads to Florida to spend the summer at the beach house he bought and spends time with his childhood friends and family.
I like Zach. He is an excellent son to his parents. He is a good friend and outstanding boyfriend. Luna is feisty and sweet. She has had a crush on Zack for a while. The characters face interesting situations. FROZEN OVER is a wonderful addition to the Seattle Scorpions series. It is skillfully written and entertaining. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy this book.
