G. A. Mazurke Scores with WAITING GAME (New York Stars #2). Hockey star Cole Korhonen decides to take figure skating lessons from Mia Charles. The two hit it off. However, Cole ends up ghosting her after he discovers who she is.

Cole has recently been traded from the Jersey Blue Demons to the New York Stars. Cole is one of the Bukowskis billet boys from END GAME (New York Stars #1).

Mia Charles became a cam girl to help support her family business, Chuck’s, that is struggling financially. Gracie Bukowski (END GAME) worked at Chuck’s and used to be friends with Mia, until Mia betrayed her. This complicates things for Cole. He is attracted to Mia but Gracie is like a sister to him and his new GM.

WAITING GAME is an entertaining read. The characters from book one, END GAME, are all still included in this story. I love the group texts. I appreciate Cole’s and Mia's love of cats and horses. There is a lot going on in the story and G. A. Mazurke does a great job executing the plot. WAITING GAME is an excellent addition to the New York Stars series. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.
