Jennifer Sucevic scores with LOVE YOU NEVER (Western Wildcats Hockey #2). Carina Hutchins and Ford Hamilton were step siblings, but what they felt for each other was not sibling like. Despite their parents getting a divorce, Ford’s dad, Crawford, feels more like a parent to Carina then her own mother. She is afraid to hurt her relationship with him by being in a relationship with his son.
Carina is roommates with Juliette McKinnon, and Ford is hockey teammates with Ryder McAdams from HATE YOU ALWAYS (Western Wildcats Hockey #1). Carina and Ford are seniors at Western University.
Carina and Ford are likable characters. They have intense chemistry. They know and understand each other; especially Ford getting Carina. I love their truth or dare moments. Jennifer Sucevic does a great job with this story. It is believable. The characters face numerous challenges. They are dealing with school, hockey/dance, family, and what comes after college; not to mention, their complicated feelings for each other. LOVE YOU NEVER is an excellent addition to the Western Wildcats Hockey series. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.
