My rating: 5 of 5 stars
S. J. Sylvis lights the lamp with WEAK SIDE (Bexley U #1). S. J. Sylvis does a fabulous job with this first book in the Bexley U series. Dance major Claire Bryant is shocked to discover that the school put her on a boys’ floor in the athletic dorm. Plus, her new roommate is hockey captain Theo Brooks. The two don’t initially hit it off, but they see an opportunity. Theo needs help to ward off the puck bunnies, and Claire wants her ex to regret “taking a break." So fake dating it is.
WEAK SIDE is a heartfelt and enjoyable read. The characters are dynamic and likable. There are interesting situations and twists. The hockey and dance scenes are well described. This is one of those stories I did not want to end. If you enjoy close-proximity sports romances, you will enjoy this book. I am looking forward to Asher’s book next. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.
