S. J. Sylvis scores with SKATE THE LINE (Blue Devils Hockey #2). Chicago Blue Devils Captain Rhodes Volkova needs a nanny for his daughter, Ellie. Unfortunately, every nanny so far has been more interested in getting in his pants then watching his daughter. Sunny Edwards is highly recommended. Due to her experience, she has no interest in making advances toward Rhodes. They initially butt heads. He is grumpy and she is like her name is sunshine.

Rhodes, Sunny, and Ellie all have trust issues. As they get to know each other they open and get to know one another. All becoming better for it. I love how the characters interact with one another.

S. J. Sylvis does a great job with this novel. The characters are dimensional and grow throughout the story. The plot was interesting with twists. I am looking forward to Kanes story next. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.
