Samantha Lind hits it in the net with AIDEN (San Francisco Shockwaves #2). This is Aiden Fox’ and Victoria (Tori) Furguson’s story. Tori is Avery’s (from book one RYKER) best friend. Ryker Jorgensen is Aiden’s teammate on the San Francisco Shockwaves NHL expansion team.
Tori is an impressive heroine. She is the VP of marketing for a record label. I enjoyed reading about the behind-the-scenes stuff that took place for concerts. I liked that she traveled with the band and that Aiden got an idea of what it was like for her to be home when he is on the road for work. It was an interesting turn of events. Aiden is a good guy. He and Tori have fantastic chemistry. He needs to convince her that he is not a stereotypical athlete and a one-woman guy.
AIDEN is a fun addition to the San Francisco Shockwaves series. It is a heartwarming read that finished quickly. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.
