Gage (Pittsburgh Titans, #3) Sawyer Bennet Review

Gage (Pittsburgh Titans, #3)Gage by Sawyer Bennett
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Sawyer Bennet gets a hat trick with the third book in the Pittsburgh Titans series, GAGE. Hockey star Gage Heyward comes out of retirement to play for the Titans to help rebuild their team after a tragedy. He meets Jenna Holland, who relocated from Phoenix to become the Titans new media liaison. Jenna has physical and emotional scars after surviving a fire. Gage is smitten by Jenna and wants to break down her walls.

Gage is a good guy. He likes mentoring the younger players on the team. He is observant. He sees past Jenna’s physical scars and recognizes the beautiful woman she is.

Jenna is the sister of Emory Holland from JETT (Arizona Vengeance #10). We met her in that story. Her confidence was shattered after the accident. People she loved and trusted did not stand by her. Gage slowly helps her build back her confidence.

GAGE is a heartfelt and emotional read. Both Jenna and Gage are remarkable characters: Jenna for the strength of surviving such a painful experience, Gage for seeing past physical imperfections. I love the relationship Jenna builds with Sophie from BADEN (Pittsburgh Titans, #1). The story is skillfully written. It is the perfect addition to the Pittsburgh Titans series. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.
