Saved by Love (Bellevue Bullies #7) by Toni Aleo Review

Saved by Love (Bellevue Bullies #7)Saved by Love by Toni Aleo
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Toni Aleo is on a winning streak with SAVED BY LOVE (Bellevue Bullies #7). In this story, Evan Adler decides to attend Bellevue University after medically retiring from the NHL to focus on his mental health. There he becomes an athletic trainer for the women’s gymnastics team, where he meets Bellevue’s star gymnast Callie Pearce. Callie has had a crush on Evan and does everything in her power to get to know him.

I’ve been looking forward to reading Evan’s story since he decided to leave the NHL in his twin brother Owen’s story, ALL THE SAUCE (IceCats #4). Callie is the sister-in-law of Nico Merryweather (WILD TENDY, IceCats #2). Evan doesn’t remember Callie from his time on the South Carolina IceCats. The two have amazing chemistry. They are good for each other. They have some interesting obstacles to overcome including dealing with Nico, who has a grudge against Evan’s family after dating Evan’s sister Shelli (DUMP AND CHASE, Nashville Assassins: Next Generation #1).

SAVED BY LOVE is an amazing addition to the Bellevue Bullies series and Assassins Universe. The story is heartfelt and full of impact. Like all Toni Aleo’s books, this novel had me laughing and crying. The characters have so much depth you cannot help but fall in love with them. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.
