Samantha Lind scores with THE FINAL PERIOD (Indianapolis Eagles #10). This book is an update on the characters in the Indianapolis Eagles series. Therefore, I recommend reading the previous books before reading this novel.
The book starts out with Reese Blackwood and Austin Jones from AGAINST THE BOARDS (Indianapolis Eagles #5). It is a clever start with country music star Reese kicking off a tour in Indianapolis. Austin makes an appearance on stage, and the Eagles are in attendance. The story then covers the various casts throughout the series from their point of view, living their current situations.
THE FINAL PERIOD is a fun story. I loved getting updates on the characters. Samantha Lind does a nice job transitioning between people; the story skillfully written and easy to follow. I’m looking forward to the spin-off San Francisco Shockwave series about the new expansion team. Find out who they got from the Eagles in the expansion draft. I recommend this story to followers of the Indianapolis Eagles series. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.
