Riggs (Arizona Vengeance #11) by Sawyer Bennett Review

Riggs (Arizona Vengeance #11)Riggs by Sawyer Bennett
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Sawyer Bennett is on a winning streak with RIGGS (Arizona Vengeance #11). In this story, defenseman Riggs Nadeau has recently been traded to The Arizona Vengeance. He lives with his seventeen-year-old sister, Janelle and keeps to himself, not wanting anyone to find out about their past. He gets Janelle a job at Clarke’s Corner, which is owned by his teammate’s wife (WYLDE, Book #7). Janelle befriends Clarke’s best friend, Veronica Woodley. Veronica takes Janelle under her wing. Unfortunately, Riggs does not like Veronica, well not at first anyway…

Sawyer Bennett does an amazing job with this book. She does a great job of evolving the characters and revealing their past. Riggs becomes friends with Baden, who was horrifically attacked while rescuing a woman in a previous book. Baden’s friendship means a lot to him, and he begins to open-up. Veronica also had a difficult past. The two realize they are more alike than they thought. I love how their relationship transitions. The three face some interesting challenges during the novel.

RIGGS is a compelling addition to the Arizona Vengeance series. I cannot wait to read Baden’s story next. He has been through so much in the last few books. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.
