Playmaker (Moo U #8) by Sierra Hill Review

Playmaker (Moo U, #8)Playmaker by Sierra Hill
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Sierra Hill lights the lamp with PLAYMAKER (Moo U #8). Hockey center, Aria Huntington transfers to Burlington University her junior year with a new identity and a secret. Her housemate, Callan Thomas, offers to help her game in exchange for pretending to be his fake girlfriend.

I liked Aria’s character. She is a center on the women’s hockey team. She wants to improve her game and get an invitation to play on Team USA woman’s hockey. Callan is a fun hero. He was drafted by the New York Bandits. He also plays center. His father is a retired NHL player. Callan is having doubts about playing professional hockey. The two get off to a rocky start. They face interesting challenges.

PLAYMAKER was skillfully written and entertaining. This is the first book that I have read by Sierra Hill. I enjoyed her writing style and would read books by her in the future. PLAYMAKER is an excellent addition to Sarina Bowen’s world of True North. I recommend this story to people who enjoy hockey romances and or fake boyfriend/girlfriend romances. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.
