Overtime (Moo U #5) by Kat Mizera Review

Overtime (Moo U, #5)Overtime by Kat Mizera
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Kat Mizera gets a win with OVERTIME (Moo U #5). Burlington University hockey captain Patrick Graham needs a tutor to make sure he can maintain eligibility. Nineteen-year-old Master’s student Ellie McGinn is his new tutor. Patrick (aka Trick) isn’t normal attracted to the girl-next-door type, but he cannot deny his attraction to Ellie.

I found it amusing that Patrick’s twin, Pax, sets him up with Ellie as a tutor because she is not his type and won't fawn all over him. Boy was he wrong. The two shared an instant attraction. I liked Ellie. She is super smart. Her mom wants her to go to medical school while Ellie does not want to be a doctor. Patrick’s dad is putting a lot of pressure on him to go pro now, while Patrick is debating on finishing school first. Both have overbearing parents. Despite their differences, they have a lot in common. They had some emotional challenges in the story.

I thought it was fantastic that Patrick was drafted to Kat Mizera’s Las Vegas Sidewinders, and I love how the book crossed over with characters from the Sidewinders. Kat Mizera and Jami Davenport which wrote Patrick’s twin’s book GAMETIME (Moo U #4) did a great job coordinating their stories. I recommend OVERTIME to people who enjoy hockey romances. OVERTIME is a fantastic addition to Sarina Bowen’s world of True North. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.
