Blindsided (Moo U #1) by Victoria Denault Review

Blindsided (Moo U, #1)Blindsided by Victoria Denault
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Victoria Denault hits it in the net with BLINDSIDED (Moo U #1). Tate Adler’s and Maggie Todd’s families hate each other. Their rivalry is right up there with the Hatfield and the McCoys. They live next door to each other on neighboring farms in Burlington, Vermont. Tate and Maggie are both students at Burlington University, better known as Moo U after their Bull mascot. Maggie knows a secret that if exposed could cost Tate his hockey scholarship and a chance in the NHL. This contemporary sports romance is suitable for new adults.

Maggie and Tate are put in a situation that gets them to know each other better. They have amazing chemistry. They begin to question why their families are fighting. Their family are constantly sabotaging each other. The families hate for each other runs deep and if Tate and Maggie decide to be together, they may be disowned.

Victoria Denault does a great job describing this family feud. The things that occur are amusing. There were times I laughed so hard I cried. There are fascinating history and challenges. BLINDSIDED is skillfully written and entertaining. This is a great start to the Moo U series, and the story is a wonderful fit in Sarina Bowen’s world of True North. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.
