touches mine, and I barely register the feel of his warm fingers sinking into
the hair at the back of my neck, because good Lord . . .
Jordie’s tongue is doing all kind of magical things.
When we
part, it feels like I’m in a daze.
He smiles.
“That was—”
I cut him
off by placing a finger on his lips. “Good night, Jordie,” I say with a smile.
I slip out
of his truck, turning to wave good-bye when I reach my door. He pulls away, and
I walk inside, my heart still galloping like crazy against my ribs.
Because
that kiss?
Was by far
the best kiss I’ve ever had.
And no
matter what I do for the rest of the night, I can’t wipe that silly smile off
