Tackled in Seattle by Jami Davenport
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Jami Davenport scores a touchdown with Tackled in Seattle (Men of Tyee #2). Alisa Brown discovers that she is a princess and second in line to the throne. Quarterback, Gage Harmon is in love with Alisa but feels he has nothing to offer her. This contemporary sports romance is suitable for new adult audiences. It takes place in London and Seattle.
I like Gage. He keeps a lot to himself. He does not come from money. He feels pressure to succeed for his family. After an injury, his life seems to fall apart. His only light is Alisa but after discovering that she is royalty she needs to move to England. The two have a sizzling chemistry. They face fascinating obstacles. They are a likeable couple with an interesting story.
I love that Riley Black and Tiffani Vernon (Men of Tyee #1) are in this story. I appreciated that Tanner Wolfe (Seattle Steelheads #4) mentors Gage. Jami Davenport did a great job with this novel. It is well-written and entertaining. I recommend this book to people who enjoy sports and/or royalty romances. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.
