Trifles and Folly 2 is another great Deadly Curiosities Collection by Gail Z. Martin. The stories included are: “The Final Death,” “Fatal Invitation,” “Redcap, Bloodlines,” “Predator,” “Fair Game,” “Unraveled.” Bonus stories: “Among the Shoals Forever,” “The Low Road,” and “Steer a Pale Course.”
These stories continue Cassidy Kincaide’s, Teag Logan’s, and Sorren’s quest to seek out cursed objects to keep the world safe from supernatural threats. Gail Z. Martin continues to do an amazing job of combining current and past history into her stories. The characters are interesting and skillfully developed. Each tale is unique and entertaining. I recommend Trifles and Folly to people that enjoy urban fantasy mysteries. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.
