Tech mogul and workaholic Wolf Evan Luparell has little time for distractions but takes a break for his brother’s wedding in South Dakota. When asked to escort another wedding attendee from the airport to Los Lobos, he agrees. Then he meets the curvy spitfire, and she ignores him.
Designer and Wolf Mina Carver didn’t mean to be rude to the handsome, glowering man claiming to be her ride, but she was busy working. Now she must endure a ride to the Black Hills with the cranky but sexy Dominant Wolf. Unexpected mating energy sparks between them, but still—should she dismiss, or kiss him?
Kisses win and they agree upon a no-strings fling. But with each wedding activity throwing them together, and their powerful chemistry and mate compatibility complicating matters, can two workaholics truly have their fun then walk away?

What is your name? Do you have a nickname?
Evan: Hello, Evan Luparell here. No nickname.
Mina: Ha, you so totally have a pet name… Wolf Man. And, Hi everyone, my name is Jasmine Carver, but everyone calls me Mina.
What is your hair color? Eye color?
Evan: Brown eyes, brown hair.
Mina: Sheesh, Wolf Man, your eyes are freaking gorgeous. More like amber jewelry than plain brown.
Evan: So says the designer.
Mina: That’s right. Oh, and my eyes are blue and my hair is red.
Evan: Red like dark cherries, my little wolf.
Mina: ::smiles:: Isn’t he sweet?
How old are you?
Mina: I’m twenty-six. And Evan here is an old man.
Evan: Thirty-one is not old.
Mina: ::pats his arm:: You know I’m just kidding, Mr. Frowny Face.
Where were you born? Where have you lived since then? Where do you currently call home?
Mina: I was born in Santa Monica, California. Currently, I live in Venice Beach. I'm here in Los Lobos, South Dakota for a wedding. It’s very pretty here in the Black Hills.
Evan: I was born in the Black Hills, but grew up in Indiana. My current home and business are based in Indiana. I agree, the Black Hills do have a certain charm…
What is in your refrigerator right now? On your bedroom floor? On your nightstand? In your garbage can?
Evan: Takeout. I’m too busy with work to cook. Nothing on the bedroom floor or in the garbage can; my twice-weekly cleaning service keeps my home spotless. There’s a phone charger on my nightstand.
Mina: Sheesh, Evan, you need to loosen up! My fridge back home is chock full of fancy coffee beans, hardboiled eggs, pre-chopped and cleaned veggies and fruits, and rotisserie chicken from my local, organic grocery store. I’m busy with work, but like to eat healthy.
Evan: ::chuckles:: Ask her what’s in her cupboards, or on her kitchen counter. Better yet, ask about her Starbuck’s habit.
Mina: ::thwacks his arm:: Hey! There’s nothing wrong with doughnuts and cookies with my healthy food! Or coffee. Anyway, my bedroom floor is home to a few piles of fabric and tons of shoes. I swear I’ll organize it all someday. Water bottle, sketchpad, and pencil are on my nightstand, along with my tablet. My garbage can is probably empty; most everything in my house ends up in the compost bin or the recycling bin.
Who are the people you are closest to?
Evan: My brother Ross and my sister Lexi.
Mina: ::grins:: Didn’t even hesitate did he? He really does love them. His sister Lexi happens to be my best friend. I’m also close with my two younger brothers, or, as I like to call them, the twin dominant doofuses. ::whispers:: Don’t tell them I said that last part.
Who is your funniest friend?
Evan and Mina: Lexi.
What is your motto?
Mina: Oh! Let me do one for you, Evan, and you can do mine.
Mina: “All work and no play makes me, Evan Luparell, wealthy, wicked tired, and boring, oops, I mean in need of distractions.”
Evan:: “Really, Red?” ::shakes his head:: “All work and too much time with Lexi makes me, Mina Carver, successful, silly, and in need of a spanking.”
Evan: “You heard me. Come. Here.”
Mina: ::blushes:: And that concludes our interview. Thanks for having us. Gotta run!
