Jasmine Moon by Celia Breslin
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Celia Breslin’s JASMINE MOON is an excellent addition to the Black Hills Wolves Series. I really enjoy this series and love that different authors contribute to it. This is the first of Celia Breslin’s Black Hills Wolves books that I have read. I am definitely interested in going back and reading her other two books in the series about the main character’s siblings in DIAMOND MOON (Black Hills Wolves, #12) and UNDER A MATING MOON (Black Hills Wolves #27) after reading this book.
In JASMINE MOON, Tech mogal, Evan Luparell, agrees to pick up his sister’s best friend Clothing Designer, Jasmine (Mina) Carver, on the way to his brother’s wedding in Los Lobos, South Dakota. The last thing either of the two workaholics wants is to discover their mate. This contemporary shapeshipfter PNR is suitable for adult audiences.
I love the chemistry between Evan and Mina. They get off to the wrong start. They constantly bicker. Their conversations are very amusing; not to mention the discussions between them and their wolves. The two are both very driven and focused on their careers. Mina has a little better work-life balance than Evan. Both are good for each other.
I enjoyed the plot. I liked the tie in from the previous books with Michael and his father. I enjoyed the bets that were made throughout the book. The story had a great ending. At 108-pages JASMINE MOON is a fast read. It was exciting from start to finish. I read it in a day.
