A Faerie's Secret by Rachel Morgan is another incredible story in the Creepy Hollow Series! A Faerie's Secret takes place seven years after The Faerie War. Don’t worry Calla’s big brother Ryn and Vi still played a role in the series.
It was interesting learning more about Calla now that she is getting older. She has had some difficulties in her life having to hide her talent from the Guild and overcome her childhood abduction. She is smart and brave. I felt bad that so many people give her a hard time. She has a serious case of Claustrophobia that sometimes puts her in less than desirable situations. She is a likable character that never seems to catch a break.
I liked Chase. He was mysterious and helpful to Calla. I enjoyed their conversations and interaction.
Rachel Morgan continued to create a vibrant world in this series. She makes it easy to visualize the surroundings and characters. The plot was amazing. So many unexpected things happen. The story was thrilling and oh-my-gosh-the-ending! Let’s just say I cannot wait to read the next book. If you haven’t tried this series, I would recommend starting with the first book.
