Jaguar Pride by Terry Spear
My rating: 4 ½ of 5 Stars
JAG Special Forces agent Melissa Overton and Huntley Anderson, are on a mission in Costa Rica to stop poaches. They recover two shifter cubs (becoming babysitters) and need to rescue their parents.
Jaguar Pride is a great novel with an interesting plot. I felt that the story was refreshing and not done before.
Melissa and Huntley are fantastic characters. They are so much alike that they make perfect partners. They are both in relationships with the wrong people that do not fully appreciate them. Melissa and Huntley are risk takers who like to have fun. They care about protecting other shifters and non-shifting cat. They are good people that are easy to like.
I love how the shifter community comes together when they find out about the kidnapped parents and rescued shifter cubs. The different units as well as civilians want to do what they can to bring the cubs and their parents home safe.
The plot was interesting and full of tons of action. There was a lot going on the kept me engaged. The story was well-written and believable. Terry Spear does a wonderful job with her description and character development. She is a gifted writer whom I truly enjoy.
