Interview
Please welcome True Alpha author Alisa Woods to Diane's Book Blog.
I just decided to start writing this story in June! And September 1st was the publication of the first episode – seems like a whirlwind, but I tend to immerse in a story and write fast once I get going. This also isn’t my first time at the rodeo, in some senses (I’ve written other books), but it’s my first time writing NA PNR, and I loved exploring that.
If you could be best friends with one of your characters, who would it be?
Definitely Lev, Lucas’s beta and younger brother. He’s just fun and silly and cute. And heart-breakingly loyal. I love that in a person. I may have to find a honey for him in a future story.J
What is your typical day like?
I write while my kids (I have three boys) are in school, so before-school is madness, and after-school is madness, but during the day it’s just me and the cats and the computer. I’m very much a homebody, so staying in my writing cave all day is kind of like nirvana.
What do you prefer paperback, hardcover, or ebooks?
Definitely ebooks, unless I’m getting a hardcover of one of my friend’s books signed – or a famous author! I met Suzanne Collins (The Hunger Games) when she came through on tour, and I still have that signed edition!
Do you have anything specific that you want to say to your readers?
Just thanks so much to everyone who’s taken a chance on the stories, reviews, pre-ordered the box set… all of it is just amazing to me. Writers love their stories first, but sharing them with readers is really what it’s all about.
