Allegiance (Penton Legacy #4) by Susannah Sandlin

Allegiance (Penton Legacy, #4)Allegiance by Susannah Sandlin
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

British vampire, Cage Reynolds returns to Penton, Alabama in hopes of making it his new home. The town is rebuilding after Matthias Ludlam’s attack. He finds himself fascinated with one of Penton’s newest residents and Omega Force recruit, eagle shape-shifter, Robin Ashton. However, he needs to stay focused because someone is still assaulting Penton.

Susannah Sandlin did it again. I love Allegiance. I could not put it down.

I enjoyed learning more about Cage. Having a psychology background, he is always quiet and observing. It was fascinating to find out more about his background and see him let loose.

I really like Robin. I mean anyone that will give Mirren a hard time is okay in my book. She is feisty and keeps things interesting. She is definitely not one to back down.

Susannah Sandlin continues to do an excelling job with character development. We see existing characters grow and are introduced to new individuals. I really enjoyed the latest Omega Force additions. They have remarkable abilities and backgrounds that help enrich the story.

The plot was well done and kept me engaged. The world Sandlin created is believable and creatively executed. I have become invested in both the individuals and town of Penton wanting to see its success. This is a truly wonderful series that continues to be spellbinding.
