Aspen Shift by Lindsay McFerrin

Aspen ShiftAspen Shift by Lindsay McFerrin
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Alix transplants from Paris to Aspen, Colorado working as the chief wine steward at the Silvermont Lodge. While out on a hike she is attached by a wolf. She discovers the world of shape shifters and doesn’t know who she could trust.

At times at the beginning of the book I felt a bit confused. It seemed like there were abrupt jumps in the story. I was reading an ARC copy so it is possible that the confusion was from formatting issues and not the story itself but I am not really certain. Either way, it all made sense in the end.

Aspen Shift is an enjoyable short story. It was a quick read at 40 pages on my e-reader.

ARC provided publisher via manicreaders.com in exchange for an honest review.
