A Faery Dream by Heather Kinnane

A Faery DreamA Faery Dream by Heather Kinnane
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Melissa is a relationship with one man but dreaming about another, Kellen; a man she has never actually met until her recent camping trip. A man who knows more about her ancestry, then she does.

Melissa has always felt that she was different. When she meets Kellen after dreaming about him, she discovers that he and her mother are faery. She has a lot of information thrown at her in a short amount of time and seems to handle it well. Melissa's journey is not easy, especially when knowing who she can trust.

Kellen has always known that Melissa was meant to be his mate. He has additional motives for wanting her to go back to the Faery Realm, which make his intention suspect, but he seems sincere.

The flow of the story felt a bit jumpy to me. However, the plot is enjoyable and interesting. A Faery Dream is a short story that covers a lot of actions. The ending left me wanting to know what happens next in the second book, A Faery Union.
