I love Ellie and Owen. They have known each other their entire lives. Their mothers are best friends. Owen is best friends with Ellie’s brother, and Ellie is best friends with Owen’s sister. Their lives have always been entwined. After their breakup, Owen distanced himself from their family and friends, not wanting to come home because it hurt too much. I love that they got a second chance.
This is the first book that I have read by Jennifer Chipman. I enjoyed her writing style. The chats with the Cousin Coffee Club were entertaining. The characters were dimensional and likable. The plot was interesting. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.
