Sea Dogs player Miles Falcon meets the woman of his dreams, photographer Leighton McBride. They spend an incredible day (and night) together before discovering that Miles plays for the team her father coaches.
Now, they need to stay away from each other. However, various circumstances keep making that difficult, and they have difficulty resisting each other.
Lauren Blakely does a great job with this story. It is skillfully written and entertaining. I like the characters. Miles is the hot nerd. Leighton wears a hearing aid and has some insecurities as a result of past experiences. They are well developed and face interesting scenarios.
THE GIRLFRIEND ZONE is an excellent addition to the Love and Hockey series. I am looking forward to book five, THE OVERTIME KISS. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.
