Toni Aleo gets a hat trick with book three in the Knoxville Bears series PUCKS AND LIKES. This is Elliot McDavid and Alejandro (Alex) Cruz’s story. Elliot works for the Knoxville Bears is the PR department. Her grandfather owns the team. Alex is the team’s goalie.
The two had been secretly seeing each other. Alex was sent up to play with the Nashville Assassins. Elliot discovered she is pregnant. She keeps her pregnancy a secret to everyone. Now Alex is back, and she needs to confess to him.
Toni Aleo does a wonderful job with this story. It is intriguing and entertaining. The characters are dynamic. PUCKS AND LIKES is the perfect addition to the Knoxville Bears series. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.
