Kat Mizera hits it in the net with HIT 'EM HARD (Bang Brothers Hockey #3). Hockey offensive defenseman Jensen Bang has been frustrated by his losing hockey season. He is thankful for the outlet with his online gaming friends. He built a connection with @Empress. He considers asking to meet her. Then the two unexpectedly end up at the same place. @Empress turns out to be former actress Bailey Walker. They are immediately attracted to each other. However, Bailey had a traumatic past. She is not sure she can put behind her.
I love Bailey and Jensen, the two a perfect for each other. They have a lot in common and similar tastes. Bailey is trying to heal from her past, literally and figuratively. Jensen is patient and thoughtful. I love Mama Bang. The story was heartwarming and entertaining.
Kat Mizera does a fantastic job with this novel. It is skillfully written. It is an excellent addition to both the Bang Brothers Hockey and L.A. Phantoms series. I appreciated that characters from both series made appearances in this book. I am looking forward to Leif’s story next LOCK ‘EM DOWN by Gina Azzi. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy this book.
