Elise Faber lights the lamp with SCORED (Gold Hockey #20). Brit and Stephan started the Gold Hockey Series in book one, BLOCKED. Brit is the first female NHL goalie. Stephan was the team captain. Now years later, Stefan asked Brit for a divorce but is it really the end.
Elise Faber did a fantastic job with this story. Brit is the heart of the Gold. She is always helping everyone with their issues. Unfortunately, her life is not perfect. She is crushed when Stefan asks for a divorce. Stefan has a secret (the reason he asked for the divorce), and he is not thinking clearly. They have some issues and misunderstandings. Both characters grow through this story. Elise Faber does a great job taking us on their second-chance journey.
SCORED is an amazing addition to the Gold Hockey series. It is skillfully written and heartfelt. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.
