C.R. Jane is heating things up with THE PUCKING WRONG DATE (Pucking Wrong #3). In this story, NHL star goalie Walker Davis, sets out to win over singing sensation Olivia Darling.
From the minute Walker first notices Olivia in the stands when she is heckling him, he knows she is the one. He literally does just about anything to win her over. Some of the things he does are morally gray. However, he is a likable character.
My heart went out to Olivia and everything she endured. She was a child star. She was abused verbally, mentally, and physically by the people who should have cared about her the most. There are things that occurred in this story that could trigger some people. Once Walker finds out what happened to Olivia, he does everything in his power to protect her. For the first-time, Olivia starts to feel safe.
Walker wants to be traded from L.A. to Dallas, so he can play with Lincoln Daniels and Ari Lancaster from books one and two. I love their text to each other. All three of them are a bit crazy, but they love their women.
This is the first book that I have read in the Pucking Wrong series. I had no problems following the story. I want to read the first two books in the series. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.
