Stephanie Hoyt scores with PROVE IT (Do or Die #1). Noah Anderson is expected to go first in the NHL draft. He is constantly stressed by his father’s criticism of him and comparing him to Alex Valencia.
Alex Valencia is expected to go second in the draft. He is the type of person that is everyone’s friend. He cannot understand why Noah Anderson wants nothing to do with him.
The two are drafted to neighboring NHL teams; one in New York, the other in New Jersey. They end up in a loser buys the other dinner competition after the draft. As they get to know each other, they befriend each other and begin to have feelings for the other.
PROVE IT is a heartwarming and entertaining read. It is skillfully written and thought provoking. The characters develop throughout the novel and grow. Stephanie Hoyt does a fantastic job with this story. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.
