My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Jennifer Sucevic gets a hat trick with book three in the Western Wildcats Hockey series NEVER MINE TO HOLD. Western Wildcats hockey goalie Wolf Westerville and Fallyn DiMarco were inseparable in their youth. A tragedy happened and they have not spoken to each other in five years.
Fallyn’s family is having financial issues. Fallyn needs to find a way to pay for her tuition at Westerville. She decides the only thing she has of value is her virginity. Wolf finds out and makes sure that he is the one that will win it.
I loved this story. It was emotional and heartfelt. The characters endured so much. It had a bit of a Romeo and Juliet vibe. Their families hated each other.
The story is skillfully written and thought provoking. My heart broke at times. NEVER MINE TO HOLD is an amazing addition to the Western Wildcats Hockey series. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.
