Elise Faber is off to a strong start with OVER THE LINE, the first book in the Sierra Hockey series. Nature Photographer Nova Csssidy has had a bad day. She was fired from her job. She caught her boyfriend cheating on her with her sister, and now she is stuck in a Snowmageddon. To top it off, she is rescued by grumpy hockey star Lake Jordan and stuck staying with him. They are immediately annoyed with each other. At least, she has her cute pug Steve.
On the outside, Lake seems to have it all. He is the star center on the Sierra Hockey team. He is a model and entrepreneur. However, he plays for a team that thinks of its players as a commodity, and he has had exes that ruined him for wanting a relationship again. He cannot decide if he is annoyed with Nova or entertained.
OVER THE LINE is a fun and humorous read. It has some interesting situations and an excellent plot. I cannot wait to read Ella and Riggs story CAUGHT FROM BEHIND. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.
