Enjoy the season with Kat Mizera’s HOLIDAY SHOT (Lauderdale Knights novella). In this story, Lauderdale Knights assistant coach Henrick Vanek is divorced and a long-distance dad to twin sons Aiden and Adam. His ex-wife Lydia is a pain and lives to make his life miserable.
Autumn Nicholls is best friends with Sutton Cahill (SURE SHOT, Lauderdale Knights #5). Autumn is a former hockey player. She is sixteen years younger than Henrick. Henrick and Autumn had a one-night stand. Henrick ghosted Autumn, feeling she deserved more than his baggage. Now the two are reunited, and Henrick begins to question his previous actions and tries to win over Autumn.
Kat Mizera does a great job with this novella. Henrick and Autumn face some interesting obstacles in this story. I like the characters. They are likable and genuine. HOLIDAY SHOT is an excellent addition to the Lauderdale Knights series. I am looking forward to Anders Nyberg’s book, BODY SHOT. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.
