Elijah is also her ex-boyfriend from high school. He is the captain of the hockey team at St. Paul University. He was heartbroken when Taylor moved to California with her mom.
Taylor and Elijah have unfinished emotions from their previous relationship. They could be mean without thinking of consequences. It makes me happy that I was in college before social media was a thing. When they are civil with each other, they have great chemistry. The story has a lot of drama and attention-grabbing scenarios. HER PUCKING STEPBROTHER has a cliff hanger ending. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.
