Happy Ho, Ho, Holidays (Chicago Steel Series) by Jessica Buss Review

Trey McConnell inherited the Chicago Steel NHL team. He relocates to Chicago to run the team. He meets Nicole at a team party.  He is mesmerized by her but never finds out her last name or phone number. Fast forward and Nichole is temporarily filling in for his assistant while she is on maternity leave.  The problem is the team has a fraternization policy.

Jessica Buss does a great job with HAPPY HO, HO, HOLIDAYS.  Trey and Nicole have wonderful chemistry.  They have both been thinking about the other and then are put in a position where they are off limits.  It causes some interesting tension, especially when Trey finds out what Nichole’s side hustle job is. This novella is a great addition to the Chicago Steel Series. It was a fun and entertaining read. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.
