Eva Meyers’ sister tragically dies in an accident, leaving behind her nine-month-old daughter, Selena (Cici). To help get custody, Eva asks her best friend Levi Mathison to marry her for a year. Eva is the cousin of Stefano Dimitris (MINE TO PROMISE, Southern Wedding #6). Stefano is also Levi’s business partner. They own a forensic accounting company that investigates fraud and cybercrimes. Eva owns a full-service beauty salon.
Natasha Madison does a fantastic job with MINE TO HONOR (Southern Wedding #7). Levi and Eva are best friends. They are both playing the field. They have never crossed the friendship line. Neither one of them wanted to lose the other if things did not work out between them romantically. Once they live together, they start to become attracted to each other. They start to become jealous. They really are perfect for each other but would probably have never given each other a chance if not for the forced proximity.
I enjoyed Levi and Eva’s story. I especially enjoyed Levi’s transition from being a bachelor to a family man. He was very sweet with Cici. He was swoon worthy with Eva, especially during their wedding. MINE TO HONOR is a heartwarming addition to the Southern Wedding series. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.
