Cathryn Fox gets a win with SCORING FAST (Rivals). Bookworm Jemma Maloney decides to reinvent herself entering her freshman year at Scotia Academy. She goes from being a quiet introvert to a sorority-girl puck-bunny, or so she wants everyone to think. She does not fool everyone, especially her roommate’s brother hockey star, Kace Andrews. There is nothing Kace dislikes more than a liar. Strange circumstances leave her temporarily raising a baby with Kace’s help.
Cathryn does a great job with SCORING FAST. The characters develop a lot throughout this story. They face challenging obstacles. They face deception. They learn to trust. The characters have great chemistry. SCORING FAST is an entertaining story that was hard to put down. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.
