My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Delancey Stewart creates a humorous read with CHECKING THE CENTER (The Zamboni Diaries #0.5). The story starts and ends with a little insight from Julius Ramon, the Wilcox Wombat’s Zamboni Driver.
Wilcox Wombats center, Rock Stevens heads back to his hometown, Singletree, Maryland for an all-star pickle ball tournament. Andrea (Drea) Coppersmith is talked into seeing the Drunken Psychic by her friends to get some information on her love life. The two met when accidentally living at the same location. Let’s just say there is some entertaining banter between the characters.
CHECKING THE CENTER is a quick and comical read. It had some laugh out loud moments. This is the first book that I read by Delancey Stewart. I plan on continuing to follow The Zamboni Diaries series. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.
