Natasha Madison heats things up with MINE TO TAKE (Southern Weddings #5). Sophia Barnes starts a new job as a wedding planner for an event company. She is excited about meeting her first client until she discovers that the groom is Carolina Whalers' hockey star Matthew Petrov; her ex-boyfriend and love of her life. Neither one of them has ever gotten over the other.

Matthew is the son of Viktor and Zoe (THIS IS WILD. This is #2). His uncles are Matthew (SOMETHING SO PERFECT, Something So #2), Max (SOMETHING SO IRRESISTIBLE, Something So #3), and Evan (THIS IS CRAZY. This is #1).

Sophia is the daughter of Reed and Hazel (SOUTHERN SUNSHINE, Southern #8). She is the granddaughter of Olivia and Casey (SOUTHERN COMFORT, Southern #2).

Natasha Madison does an amazing job with this story. I love when she crosses over her series. Both of their families are awesome. It is entertaining visualizing them interacting together. I appreciated that Matthew is persistent in getting back Sophia. Sophia’s heart was broken. She does not make it easy on him. MINE TO TAKE is the perfect second chance romance.

The story ended with the start of the next book, MINE TO PROMISE (Southern Wedding #6). I cannot wait to read Matthew’s cousin Stefano’s and Addison’s story. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.
