Karina Espinosa starts out strong with the first book in the Sevyn Rose series, KILLER WOLF. Sevyn Rose (aka the Grim Reaper of Chicago) became an assassin for the mafia after her mother went missing. Then she left her pack. She has been successful in avoiding her pack, until she receives her next target: Christian Ellis former pack mate (emphasize mate) and son of the alpha/Chicago mayor. Now throw in vampires and a potential pack takeover.
There is never a dull moment in this story. It is full of action and twists. The characters are dynamic and likable. The story is skillfully written and entertaining. Fans of Karina Espinosa will not be disappointed. If you haven’t read Karina Espinosa before and enjoy urban fantasies, I highly recommend this story. KILLER WOLF ends with a cliff hanger. I am anxiously awaiting book two. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.
