K. Kinley breaks out with UNDRESSED IN THE CREASE (Boys of Deexton Hall Series #1). Captain/Goalie of the Dexexton Hall Huskies hockey team, Nick Miller, blames himself for their Frozen Four loss in the previous season. He is determined to focus on hockey and have a winning season. Then he sets his sites on gym employee, Lenny Briggs. He doesn’t want a girlfriend, but he still wants to have fun. As he gets to know her, he starts to like her. Then he discovers she is a journalism major (aka the enemy).
This is the first story that I have read by K. Kinley. I would read another book by her in the future, especially in this series. The hockey scenes are well written. There are a lot of funny events that take place. The characters are likable and well defined. There are thought-provoking moments. It was a book that is hard to put down. I recommend this story to people who enjoy college hockey sports romances. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.
